A coalition of northern politicians under the aegis of Team New Nigeria (TNN), on Sunday, announced its resolve to float a new political party, to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 elections.
National President of the group, Modibbo Yakubun Farakwai, who announced the decision at the official
inauguration of the harmonisation committee in Kano, said the decision to pull out of APC was informed by the failure of the President Tinubu administration.
According to him, all their members worked tirelessly with the APC in 2015, to wrest power from the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but were disappointed and regretted their actions
